I am a very active person. I play soccer one day a week and train for triathlons six days a week (swim, bike, and run), and I am on my feet for work. After a soccer game back in October, I drove home, and when I got out of my car, my foot hurt to the point of barely being able to walk.
I rested, iced, heated, saw a podiatrist, took Advil, and had adjustments, just to name a few treatments to help with healing. The pain was nerve pain (in the arch and then went to the heal), not broken bone pain. This went on for over four months. Dr. Domi got the laser, and we did a series on my foot. The moment it flashed on my foot, I could feel the pulse in my nerve all the way to my toes. Not a bad pain at all. We did 7 treatments, I believe, and now the pain is basically gone. I sometimes get phantom reminder pains, but they quickly go away. I suspect one more treatment and the issue will be fully resolved. I just did the Lavaman triathlon in Hawaii one week ago with zero pain. The distance was a 1,500-meter swim, 25-mile bike, and 6-mile run. I know that in the future if I need to heal quickly, I will be back getting laser treatment.
I am so grateful for Dr. Domi and her care and expertise.
